Best Time to Travel

October to April → Main trekking season. Trails, refugios, and camps are open.

October – November: Spring, fewer crowds, landscapes full of wildflowers, still chilly and windy.

December – February: Summer, warmest temperatures (12–20 °C), long daylight hours, but also peak crowds and higher prices.

March – April: Autumn colors, fewer visitors, stable weather windows, excellent for photography.

Day 1 — Santiago → Puerto Natales (PNT) → Puerto Natales

Morning flight Santiago → Punta Arenas. Transfer to Puerto Natales by local bus and then transfer to your hotel in Puerto Natales. Overnight Puerto Natales. expedia

Day 2 — Transfer to Torres del Paine & W Trek Day 1

Transfer early to park (≈1.5–2 hr). Start W trek: Hike to Las Torres Base, lodging at Central Sector. campsite on trail.

Day 3 — W Trek Day 2 (French Valley)

Hiking to Francés Sector (o Cuernos), lodging Francés Sector (o Cuernos).

Day 4 — Hike to the Francés Valley, lodging at Paine Grande Sector.

Day 5 — Hike toward Grey Glacier sector; optional short boat to Grey lookout (weather-dependent). Overnight near Grey

Day 6 — Morning hike to the Grey Glacier viewpoint, with stunning close-up views of the ice field.

Return trek to Paine Grande Lodge.

Afternoon catamaran across Lake Pehoé to Pudeto.

Shared bus transfer back to Puerto Natales.

Day 7 — Puerto Natales → Punta Arenas – Santiago

Transfer to Punta Arenas airport, morning flight to Santiago. End of program
