Day 4 β Aug 04: Coffee Region
After breakfast, depart MedellΓn by private van toward the Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Enjoy a scenic drive of 5β6 hours through green valleys, cloud forests, and mountain landscapes.
Arrive at your coffee hacienda hotel near Salento.
After a welcome lunch, set out on a guided coffee farm tour. Learn about the entire process β from planting and harvesting to drying and roasting.
Participate in a coffee tasting session with a local expert, discovering the aromas and flavors that make Colombian coffee world-famous.

Day 5 βΒ Aug 05: Cocora Valley & Salento
After breakfast, transfer to the Cocora Valley, one of Colombiaβs most iconic landscapes.

Learn about the biodiversity of the cloud forest and its role in Colombiaβs ecosystem.

Visit the charming town of Salento, famous for its colorful balconies, artisan shops, and lively main square.
Lunch in a traditional restaurant, tasting local specialties like trout with plantains.

Day 6 β Aug 06: La Macarena
Breakfast at the hacienda. Transfer to MatecaΓ±a International Airport (PEI), Pereira.
Drive time: ~45 minutes β 1 hour
Private charter flight from Pereira to La Macarena Airport (LMC). Flight time: ~1 hour 45 minutes.
Enjoy aerial views of the Andes and the Amazonian plains on your way to one of Colombiaβs most remote natural treasures.
Arrival and assisted transfer to your eco-lodge.
Orientation with local environmental guides about the regionβs unique ecosystems and conservation efforts.
Depending on timing, enjoy a short introductory hike along nearby trails with first views of the Guayabero River.

Day 7 β Aug 07: Rainbow River
Breakfast at the lodge around 6:00 AM.
Depart early (approx. 7:00 AM) with your guide for the CaΓ±o Cristales National Natural Park.
Trek through the rainforest to the riverβs most famous sections where vibrant aquatic plants create a kaleidoscope of colors (reds, yellows, blues, greens).
Swim in the clear waters at designated safe spots β snorkeling gear available.
Guided explanations on the riverβs unique ecosystem, flora, and fauna.
Day 8 β Aug 8: Guayabero River Boat
Guayabero River boat trip β scenic boat ride through rainforest waterways, wildlife spotting (birds, monkeys), and remote villages.
Day 9 β Aug 9: La Macarena to Bogota
Early breakfast and transfer to La Macarena airport.
Flight from La Macarena to BogotΓ‘ (usually direct, ~1 hour).
Arrival at El Dorado International Airport (BOG).
Private transfer to hotel in BogotΓ‘βs historic district (La Candelaria). Then we will enjoyΒ guided city tour.
